v20.1 Evolving regional variants through an event

So there's that new feature in Pokemon Essentials for Pokemon like Galarian Yamask and Kubfu where their evolution is triggered by an event. How would I define a new evolution event where it evolves a Pokemon into a regional variant of its possible evolutions? So for example, Pikachu -> Alolan Raichu or Koffing -> Galarian Weezing.

The wiki says that Kubfu's method should involve manually setting its form before running the evolution, so I guess you'd do the same there?

There's an example of this in the default maps, the rocks on Berth Island set Deoxys' form.
