Lag in on my Desktop?(Updated)

I've been experiencing lag on my Desktop computer when in battles. For some reason when I move to pick a move it lags just enough for it to be annoying(you can even see the Pokemon jumping slightly slower). None of these problems happen on my terrible laptop which can't even run the opening(Luka S.J's script) Smoothly but everything else in the game runs smooth. Is there anything I can do to fix this for my computer?

If the game lags when you go into battle it may be because you're using default essentials music, which is known to cause lag. I'd say the move selection turn would also be because of this. If you're not using default essentials music it may be something else.

I'm nit using the default essentials music and the lag is mostly when picking a move

Is it possible there are too many events on the map you're testing in? Or is it all battles in general?
