A humorous, tropical little adventure with great mapping and cutscene direction.

Thoughts:
- Nice cutscene direction and event movement

- Tight mapping

- probably a time limitation thing, but interior tiles are gen 3 and are clashing with the general gen 4 tileset. Also characters are using gen 3 sprites while the cast is using gen 4. As always, this is considered incosistent and throws off some people, though I personally don't mind it. That said, character sprits as well as trainer backsprite look good.

- I like the premise and the setup

- while it's obvious there's something wrong going on with the cookies, it'd be best to not let that magma guy (the one talking to another magma grunt) explicate that in such a manner

- can I get lava cookies ad infinitum? what if I sell them? how much money can I make?

- grass encounters are a bit high

- one suggestion would be to replace the hms with items

- cave encounters also felt quite high, especially considering you have to move boulders around. I got an encounter every three or four steps

- is it me or some boulders can't move into certain empty tiles - perhaps tiles where you've placed events like the pokeball item, but whose next empty page you haven't set to "through"?

- I can imagine a lot of people never interacting with the boulder in that specific place to activate the cutscene. Perhaps place a specific, unique boulder there? Like the one that Heatran supposedly protects in the main games?

- nice cutscene animation in the volcano

- I think you've missed a couple of full stops at the end of some of the MCs monologues

- lol at the 5 lvl rattata

- haha, nice friggin partner you have there

- so you can lose that battle, huh? I was kinda sad that there was no unique dialogue for beating him. Also it'd be nice if there was a healing spot before the battle, it's kind of a pain to backtrack all the way to get healed

- lava cookies should subtract HP or add statuses xD

- small nitpick, right as your """""""""friend""""""""" takes his last step backwards, it'd be good for the player to be looking down instead of left

- lava plume on magmortar is a bit much considering it's also at least 5 levels above your team at the time

- by the way, why hasnt any grunt thought of simply ganging up on the main character in the main games? I mean, it'd work, instead of waiting for them to finis dueling with either the boss or another grunt xD

- I also like the fact that there's pauses inbetween certain words, however the ellipses-pauses can feel a bit slow


Bugs:
- First map is named "Indoor Houses" when you save the game

- Docks tree shadow bug, easy to see when friend says "go on and see what the surprise is"

- tropical tree upper tile priority is lower than mid tile, perhaps set em both to 3?

- Thomas has all badges on his trainer card

- a couple of tree roots appear above tree leaves

- mailbox has no dialogue (could be by design)

- gen 4 characters dont have shadows, but it'd be weird for only them to have when the gen 3 characters dont anyway. So I don't know

- grass is also gen 3, as well as signs

- you can leave the healing cave without the shaking effect completing

- the middle tile of the tree should also have the same priority as the sides, part of the player's head/hair can be seen in the middle

- magma grunt sprite walking animation (especially left-facing) is bugged

- camera pans down before archie finishes his left moving route

- "currently at the docks" transition is a bit fast, also credits roll cuts a bit suddenly

Strong Suite: Mapping, Cutscene Direction and Event Animation, humor
Feeling: Tropical, Fun
