I tried using the base rival naming event in my game and got an error, after a few minutes of fiddling around to see if I'd messed up I went back to a clean untouched version of essentials and triggered the event, only for the same error to pop up. Is anyone else dealing with this?

Your error tells you that there is no file called "trchar004".
The naming convention for trainer spritesheets changed in v19.1 to use internal names rather than IDs. For example, trchar004 is now called trainer_RIVAL1. If you swap trchar004 for trainer_RIVAL1 in your script, it should work.

Thank you! I'm so used to working in 17.2 I didn't even notice that.
