Well, what a disapointment to get stuck in a impossible battle, yes, I'm talking about Bri and the 3 overleveld legendary
anyway, since I can't go any further, here's my observations, I know the game is still in development, I just hope it helps
  • The biggest problem of the game is the lack of sprites, specially the fakemons
  • A lot of meaningless legendaries, yeah they are cool, but there's no real reason to be there, it needs to have any lore, even a tiny one
  • the sound type don't change the game at all, I only saw it in the fakemon bird and nowhere else
these are the main ones, but here's all the observations I wrote during my gameplay ->
I really think the game is fun to play and has a lot of potential, so keep working on it!

I wanted to leave a few of my thoughts about the game:

I played for a little over an hour and while I can't say I'm not enjoying it, there are just a few things that bothered me.

But first, the good stuff.
The title screen animation was really pretty.
The mapping was REALLY nice, definitely the best part about the game, the first town, and the first 2 routes were very well detailed. The interior designs for the Pokemon center and Pokemart also felt very fresh and unique.
The music was good as well, I really liked the GBA-styled themes from non-GBA titles.
The Regional forms looked interesting and unique.

What bothered me.
Things just felt really fast-paced. Don't get me wrong I definitely would rather not sit through a 20-minute long unskippable tutorial like in the main series games, but it took me less than an hour to clear the first gym. And I didn't feel like I was rushing through it, and I wasn't using a speed-up modifier either.
The first gym also felt really easy, I was able to sweep through it with only an Eevee and a Poliwag. The second gym felt somewhat difficult due to my pokemon being a few levels under, but I was still able to clear it pretty easily.
My playtime after beating the second gym was at 1:20, which just seems weird especially for an 8 gym game.
The Pokemon variety was kinda meh.

Bugs, or what felt like them.
Following Pokemon were super finicky on bridges over water.
Some Pokemon sprites (Notably, Zubat, Hoppip, Emolga, and the Bird fakemon on the first route) were either floating or felt too low to the ground.
Status effects wouldn't display next to my health bar in battle.
I could walk on some tiles that were surely meant to have priority over me.
During the battle with the evil team inside the power generator room, the rival character was missing their sprite both outside and inside of battle.
The rival battle outside the second gym had no music.

I tried to sound as constructive as possible, and I don't mean to be negative at all. The only reason I'm writing this is that I see a lot of potential from this game. I definitely did enjoy some of it and I'll likely go back to it.
