The Story:
It's your 18th birthday, and you finally have the chance to search for your mother, who's been missing for as long as you can remember.
Taking the League Challenge is nothing but an excuse to explore more locations and search far and wide.

But you soon find out there are bigger problems starting to ravage the region. You begin to learn of the origin of the Canòrr region as
it's known today and the history of its current King and Queen.
As the hidden secrets become divulged, the dots to your missing mother connect more and more.

A prophecy older than time, ancient inscriptions, a mysterious royal plot, divination, and magic new and old all collide in a clash that shakes
everything you have ever known.

> Regional Forms: Old Pokémon have strange new forms in Canòrr, with new abilities and designs, discover which ones in the game!

> Pokémon Rebalances : There are a lot of Pokémon that need some love, so Im giving them and many others a couple more new moves and ways to fight.

> New Moves / Abilities

> Custom Mega Evolutions

> Z-Moves

> Level Caps : I took the Traded Pokémon level cap, where they stop obeying you after x level, and made that work for all Pokémon, there will be methods to decrease in level to counteract this.

> Birthsigns and Zodiac Powers : Pokémon will now have some added effects out of battle, some will be able to use Flash without having the move, others will have perfect IVs in some stats, some will even increase the shiny rate. And of course, this will also help in battle.

> Field Effects : This creates semi-permanent terrains in every map or location you fight in, that can boost certain aspects during a Pokémon Fight, if you've played Reborn you know what I'm talking about.

> All Gen 1-8 mechanics : This one is very self explainatory

Pokémon Divulgence has 4 challenge modes:


  • Easy : This mode is exactly what you think it is, while I want my game to be challenging,
    I do understand that some people want to play for the story.
    So this mode is for those.
    Gym Leaders, Rivals, every single trainer even, is going to have lower level mons AND fewer mons and moves.
  • Normal : This mode is not exactly the difficulty i intended for the game, that would be the HARD mode,
    but I required a transitional difficulty option, and something for those that don't want to be treated like babies for playing EASY.
    This mode will simply have Gym Leaders, Rivals and Trainers have a couple more mons and slightly higher level than EASY mode.
  • Hard : This mode is what I consider to be the canon of the game when it comes to story and world.
    Gym Leaders will have full teams of 6, Rivals will have a couple more mons, and so will some other trainers, levels will also be slightly higher than the prior difficulty.
  • Extreme : This mode is the "I want to cry" difficulty mode, or at least its supposed to be,
    I'm sure someone out there will find a way to breeze through this.
    The biggest part of this mode, is that Gym Leaders, Rivals and big boss fights, will all be (mostly) doubles + might cheat with some moves.
Factory made healing items:

This game is going to add a feature called Potion Debuff (yes, I am very creative with names),
  • If a Potion is used twice in a row, it will decrease in healing capacity.
    For each turn where you don't heal, the healing capacity slowly goes back to normal.

    Example:
    Turn one, use a 20 HP healing Potion.
    Turn two, use a 20 HP healing Potion.
    Turn three, that same potion, only heals 18 HP now.
    Turn four, heal again for 18 HP.
    Turn five, now it heals for 16 HP.
    And so on and so on, until it gets to 10 HP. Which is the final phase.

    The potion debuff has 5 phases, and each will decrease the healing by 20% each time.
    Now, if the player didn't heal on Turn four, for example, the phase would go back one, so on Turn Five, it would return to heal 20 HP.

Hello everyone!

Just came here to update somethings that we have been working on lately.

I have been working a lot on the region map, it was something I kept saying I would eventualy do, but never did.


We got a new logo for the game!
Made by someone named Toxiquid.

So I started work on it:

It's not complete, but quite a good portion of it has been done.

And I also have two Canòrr Region forms I want to show to you!

These will be the first regional variants you will be able to find in the game!

Hello again everyone!

I was kinda feeling like giving another mini update, about some new game mechanics.

Before anything, I want to mention that we actually have more progress than I actually show here,
I just don't like showing everything here, because I'm the kind of person that goes back and redoes everything that he doesn't like.

But anyway!

Pokémon Divulgence is going to have 4 difficulty modes,

Another thing I want to talk about is Healing Items use, specificaly the ones from the Potion lines, aka factory made.

I honestly dislike heal spam in fights, I consider them very cheap and a easy way to cheese any big fights through sheer PP Stall and the like.

As such, I created a new battle debuff, simply called Potion Debuff (amazing name I know, very original).
  • Potion Debuff

    If a Potion is used twice in a row, it will decrease in healing capacity.
    For each turn where you don't heal, the healing capacity slowly goes back to normal.

    Example:
    Turn one, use a 20 HP healing Potion.
    Turn two, use a 20 HP healing Potion.

I personallly agree about items used im battle
Thats a really smart way to discourage items and actually fight like in competitive
Btw if you need a composer id love to nake music for your project :)

Hello everyone!
I've not updated this place in a while, just wanted to say that I am not dead, this game is still happening.

I have updated the main post with some stuff, including a new regional form, and more up to date WIP Region Map.

Now to some new stuff:
I have added Rustling Grass/Dust Particles etc, from Gen 5 into the game.

Dust Particles

In Sinnoh we had a Mining minigame, I have added that too:

You will find shining rocks in caves and you will require a Mining Kit to mine them for loot, thing is, you only have 1 chance, since they get destroyed afterwards, so remember to save and reset if you want a specific item.

I also wanted to show the starters:


I don't think I have ever seen a fangame use this trio, so I will!!

And now the last part, Pokémon Rebalancing, I said in the main thread I was gonna rebalance every Pokémon and I will still do it.
I currently have touched upon every single Gen 1 and Gen 2 Pokémon, its mostly based on Drayano hacks, but I also did some things my way, here are some examples:

I gave Politoed Light Screen and Cosmic Power, so it can be slightly more tankier, and Baton Pass for it to do some memey strats with his team,giving him a more supportive role.

I also gave him a new ability, called Icy Veins, this ability powers up water and ice-type moves in Hail, and also give Hail immunity.
Politoeds with this ability are capable of becoming more of a power house instead of a supporting role!
Water Spout is there for its ultimate water move.

For Jynx, I gave it some more special attack moves, and made Calm Mind a level up move, nothing too wild there.
But I also gave it a new ability called Charming Touch, this ability works like Poison Touch, but instead of poison, it infatuates the target.
Meaning that Lovely Kiss and Sweet Kiss will be way more stupid.

Minor Bugs:
