Can i make my fan game online?

Hello im new to all of this.I was started a project with a fun game its not done yet but i want to ask if i can make it somehow online to play with friends and they test it too.

It is possible to implement some online features into an Essentials game; some of the online scripts used in Insurgence are open source. If you're thinking about a full MMO RPG then Essentials probably isn't the best choice since that's not really what it's made for.

Ok. That was very useful thank you! I have made one with unreal engine too but essentials has this nostalgic old style..reminds me my days as little kid hehe!
