A few questions

I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to fan game development. I was working on, yet another, Pokemon fan game, set in the Pokemon Yellow universe (sort of) where the player gets to play as a member of Team Rocket, but the recent take down of the Essentials wiki by Nintendo has halted my progress and made me a little cautious about continuing, as I'm well aware that the Pokemon anime characters are the property of Nintendo, and the Pokemon Company seems to be quite hostile toward fan works, especially works that look and play a lot like the original games.

I have two questions, in light of this:

1. Where can I find something like the Essentials Wiki (something active not archived, but thanks for the links) so that I can continue making my fan game?
2. Are there ways (legal or at least means that are more or less off of the radar) to share completed fan games and get feedback without potentially being targeted by Nintendo for copyright infringement?

3. Also, I'm just curious. How difficult would it be to convert all of this to GBA format so that people can play on their phones?

I wish I were a little better at game making and world building, then I might just try to make my own original games instead of being stuck in the Poke-verse. Try as I might, though, I have a lot of trouble coming up with something as entertaining as Pokemon.

That's not two questions. :P
1. Here is the new wiki

2. Everyone wonders this, but it's a conversation that doesn't go anywhere because there just isn't an answer. Here's a thread if you want to read some different thoughts, by my short answer would be to generally not worry about it. The number of fan games that have been recognized and taken down by Nintendo is pretty insignificant compared to the total number of fan games out there.

3. Haha, if it was easy then someone would have done it n_n
That's just one of the things a dev needs to consider when choosing the engine to build their game in. Essentials is pretty popular for its' ease of use, but hacking has advantages like being more available due to emulators.

Thanks! hopefully this is what I'm looking for.

Another question, maybe it's just my system memory, but the game I'm making lags a bit on test playthroughs. Any ideas on how to prevent this? I want to make something that feels a lot like a gen 3 GBA game, and they don't lag at all.
