Checking a registered Pokémon

Is there a way to check if the player has a certain species registered in the Pokédex? I want to make events in which if the player has registered a specific Pokémon, then the event will allow him/her to do something or not. Thanks in advance!

Yeah! For a pokemon the player has encountered you can use $Trainer.seen[123] in a conditional branch, with that number being the ID of the species. The wiki also has a method for Pokemon that the player owns, or even checking for specific forms!

The same as above. Using $Trainer.seen[123]=TRUE will register the Pokemon as seen without the player having to encounter the species the normal way. (Again that number 123 is the unique ID number for the pokemon)
