Gen 3 Essentials? (battle, PC, Summery, etc.)

I know that the default overworld sprites that come with Essentials are from FRLG, but the battle graphics, pc, party and summery screen are all more gen 4ish. I want to make a game that's more gen 3ish, with gen 3 sprites and such. I've tried looking for resource packs or ways to edit these things myself, but I haven't found anything that's actually finished or helpful. Do you guys have any advice?

Unfortunately I don't remember exactly what they had off the top of my head, but have you tried looking through older versions of Essentials, from well before Maruno took over? At the very least I'm pretty sure the battle interface used to be more in the Gen 3 style. I'd imagine most of these older resources are still usable with modern Essentials, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of repositioning or other tweaks are involved.
