Elite Battle System crashes instantly

I have followed Luka S.J.'s videos correctly, I've met all the requirements needed to download the latest version, but when I go into the Universal Plugin Installer and launch the Game.exe, I get "RGSS Player has stopped working" immediately. My editor won't even launch now but the base game.exe works. If I remove the plugin everything works fine. I have no idea what went wrong.

If you're getting a Script is hanging error message during any process while using the Universal Plugin Installer (v2), it means that the program is unable make an active HTTP request, and therefore times out. Check your Anti-virus, Firewall and other 3rd party application settings to make sure they aren't interfering with the Universal Plugin Installer's (v2) ability to download files from the internet. Extremely poor/slow Internet connections can also cause the program to time out.

I've read the site in its entirety a couple of times to make sure I didn't miss anything, I have no anti-virus or firewall enabled that could prevent UPI from running, I have a full internet connection so I'm positive that's not the issue, how can I check to see if other 3rd Party applications are running? Any specific way I can find out which one?

To all wondering how I solved this, my DEP (Data Execution Protection) was blocking the use of the Game.exe needed to run UPI, I would recommend disabling it if you are having a similar issue
