Tutorial How to add new encounter methods [Removed]

My fault (again!)... I overlooked the need for the Terrain Tag, so it's just thinking you're on that tag all the time (same behaviour as Caves, yeah!). Check Step 3 to create your tag.

I really overlooked something, didn't ? :poop: I'm so sorry, I'll get to it ASAP.

Tutorial How to add new encounter methods [Removed]

Sorry, seems to be something on your end. I've replicated all three steps quickly and it all works as intended without crashes on vanilla Essentials 16.2.

Tutorial How to add new encounter methods [Removed]

That one! Delete it or put a comment before it. I was messing with Terrain Tags as part of the tutorial but they weren't really needed, so I deleted it but accidentally left that in. Ignore that step. The tutorial is updated.

Tutorial How to add new encounter methods [Removed]

Oh! That was my bad, can you comment that line, see if it still brings up an error? I was initially messing with Terrain Tags for it, too. You need to comment when PBTerrain::DarkGrass; return PBEnvironment::Grass, inside pbGetEnvironment in PField_Field.

The Ups and Downs of New Types

Personally, unless the type really empowers the plot or setting, I think they are a bad idea. Off the top of my head I can only think of Pokémon Uranium doing this well. It's not just a new "Glow", "Light", etc type, but one that is easy to identify when you're battling against it, has simple...

    Starters

Now that's something I actually don't like much! I like being able to choose, although not a fan of personality tests either because I don't think they fit choosing a starter as they help deciding "who you are" in PMD games. Personally, I'm using Johto starters in my game but they might not...

Discussion Relic Castle Cooks! (Recipe Thread)

An alternative to the shrimp broth at the start, if you're boiling the shrimp, you can just filter that liquid and add the saffron afterwards. Probably tastes the same. Also I love those

Discussion Relic Castle Cooks! (Recipe Thread)

Dude, paella is in my blood. I must say I prefer my paella without chorizo if it has seafood in it. I prefer a full seafood (clam, mussel, razor clam...) dish over mixing it with meat. I also hate peas with a passion. :mask: Basically, improving on this recipe based on my experience, I would...

Don't mind if I do! I've been playing with the idea of a small part of the screen being dedicated to some additional information, such as Pokémon status, etc (image 1), while also doubling up as an extended command screen during battles (image 2) or just additional room in the screen (summary...

It's okay not to like the gradient. After all, I think this resource is meant to be used as a "base", arranging the elements horizontally. Ideally, you should be making your own assets.

    Completed Pokémon Gaia Version

Gaia's been my favourite hack since I gave it a go a year or two ago. It's incredibly wide in terms of content, and has many features that take a lot of ASM knowledge to forge (the new stairs/slopes, Battle Marsh, Mega Evolution...) and some graphic work that makes you go "Ah!" because it's so...

Maybe they want to "equalize" the world's temperature? Maybe half a region is too hot, and the other too cold, and obtaining both would allow them to take control of the temperature and fix it to help both humans and Pokémon, but it goes wrong and they pull an Omega Ruby-/Alpha Saphire-style stunt.
